We are seeking two dedicated Pediatric Hospitalists for a locum tenens opportunity near Blue Eye, MO. This position offers a unique chance to provide high-quality care in an inpatient setting and contribute to a long-term coverage plan. The role is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis.

• Role:

  • Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients in a hospital setting.
  • Manage admissions and rounding duties, covering both day and night shifts.
  • Ensure high standards of care in a stroke-certified facility.

• Schedule:

  • Initially, 15 shifts per month, increasing to approximately 30 shifts per month by mid-October.
  • Shifts are 12 hours long, with options for day (6 AM - 6 PM) or night (6 PM - 6 AM) coverage.

• Licensing and Certification:

  • Must be licensed in Missouri.
  • ACLS certification is required.
  • BLS, ABLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications are not required.

• Experience:

  • Experience in pediatric hospital care is preferred.
  • Comfort with managing both inpatient admissions and rounding.

• Additional Information:

  • No hospital/surgery center privileges required.
  • Temporary privileges are available.
  • EMR System:
    Epic.
  • Board certification is required.
