Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surgical Oncologist for a complex surgical oncology practice dedicated to the comprehensive care of patients with a broad spectrum of malignant diseases.

Scope of Practice
  • Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) malignancies
    : liver, pancreas, bile duct cancers
  • Upper Gastrointestinal (UGI) tumors
    : including esophago-gastric junction and gastric cancers
  • Soft Tissue Sarcomas
    : of the extremity, retroperitoneum, and trunk
  • Stage IV Colorectal Cancer
    , focusing on management of colorectal cancer metastasis to the liver
  • Cytoreductive Surgery with Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) for peritoneal surface malignancies

The successful candidate will work closely with a comprehensive cancer team—including medical and radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, pathologists, and other subspecialists—to deliver multidisciplinary care in a tumor board-driven environment.

Qualifications
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Complex Surgical Oncology with fellowship training in Complex General Surgical Oncology or an equivalent subspecialty
  • Commitment to clinical excellence
  • Ability and willingness to support the broader functions of the Department of Surgery, such as participating in general surgery call, contributing to clinical, educational and service missions of the department
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-based, collaborative approach to care
