Locum Tenens physician needed to provide 12-hour day and night coverage in an 11-bed Emergency Department in Missouri. The department handles about 12,000 ED visits annually and is part of a Level III Trauma Center with chest pain and stroke capabilities.
Prescriptive authority is required for this assignment; board certification is negotiable. Expect roughly 12 shifts per month, with on-site duties and a mix of acute and general emergencies.
