Job Description

The University of Missouri Department of Family & Community Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the collaboration of practice physicians. This position is part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients, families, and communities.

This role involves caring for Family Medicine patients with ongoing health conditions, preventative care, and acute care needs.

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and exercise a high level of autonomy in diagnosing and treating actual and potential health problems.
• Perform patient histories and physical examinations; order and perform diagnostic procedures; monitor patient conditions, lab values, and diagnostic results, and develop treatment goals.
• Collaborate with a collaborating MD in difficult or complicated cases under a formal collaborative agreement.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, nursing staff, and other health‑care professionals in the area of expertise.
• Work Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• Physician Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.

Salary Range: $105,000 – $126,000 annually. Grade: PAT-011. University
