About the roleProvides 1:1 and group instruction as needed to support student online learning toward earning a high school diploma. Coordinates student high school diploma education and training to ensure student progress, retention and completion of the Job Corps program leading to quality full-time jobs, higher education, or advanced training. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
What you’ll do- Coordinate student completion of approved online high school diploma program.
- Meet Department of Labor (DOL) and Company statistical goals for assigned area.
- Demonstrate ability to manage classroom environment and classroom discipline for effective learning.
- Demonstrate full knowledge of competency-based instruction, computer management instruction, and cooperative-learning techniques.
- Tailor facilitation to each student by using a variety of instructional approaches in recognition of students’ diverse learning needs and preferences.
- Make recommendations for policy and curriculum revisions.
- Participate in evaluations of student progress.
- Provide appropriate personal and educational guidance to students.
- Bachelor's degree in Education with State certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
The pay range for this role is:
57,600 - 70,000 USD per year (Saint Louis JCC)
