One of the prestigious fellowship programmes hosted by Caltech offers an excellent opportunity to Undergraduate students in STEM fields to conduct research under the mentorship of renowned mentors at the frontier of their fields. The duration of the summer research program is 10 weeks, during which the participants will experience cutting-edge research in state-of-the‑art research facilities at the California Institute of Technology, USA.

The institute does not charge any fee at any stage of the application process.

The host organization covers all the costs of the participants related to the summer research program, which includes air travel costs, accommodation, meals, and more. The application process is online. Interested applicants need to submit their application before February 22nd, 2026

To be eligible for the Caltech University Summer Research program, you must fulfill the following criteria:

• The fellowship is open for both international and usa citizens
• Currently enrolled in an undergraudate degree program
• Students must have completed the second semester of the degree program
• CGPA requirement of at least 2.5/4.0
• Master’s, Ph.D, and High school students are not eligible to apply

The fellowship offers generous support of $8,110 to cover:

• Travel expenses
• Accommodation

• Weekly seminars led by the Caltech faculty, scientists & engineers
• Participate in academic and professional development programs
• Social and cultural activities to broaden their networks
• Dinners with fellows and faculty

• The fellowship covers all the costs related to the program
• Carry out the project under the mentorship of renowned faculty members
• Develop your academic and professional skills
