Overview
Part‑time Faculty:
Physics and Astronomy – 70133 rles Community College. The role involves teaching lectures and labs in Physics and non‑major Physical Science and Astronomy courses for the 2025‑2026 semesters.
St. Charles Community College, founded in 1986, is one of the leading two‑year colleges in Missouri, serving a six‑county region with a population of over 540,000. The main campus in Cottleville and the Dardenne Creek Campus offer contemporary facilities, including the Center for Healthy Living and the Field to Table Institute.
Responsibilities- Deliver lecture and laboratory instruction in Physics, Astronomy, and related Physical Science courses.
- Prepare lesson plans, exams, and course materials.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students.
- Work on a semester‑by‑semester (as needed) part‑time basis.
- Master’s degree in Physics, Astronomy, or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience required.
