Title: Community Health Lecturer
California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) opened in 2002 as the newest campus in the California State University system. the Position
To plan, develop and teach pre‑licensure Nursing Science classes in the clinical setting and the campus skills lab. To carry out other duties associated with lecturer responsibilities to include but not limited to: maintaining accurate student records/clinical grades, coordinating clinical instruction with other faculty; coordinating student experiences with clinical personnel; maintaining communications between the University and clinical agencies including participation in annual summation meetings;
participating in curriculum development; participating in CCNE and BRN accreditation activities; participating in curriculum excellence by remaining current in the subject matter and techniques of effective instruction through recent clinical experience and professional development.
A Masters degree in nursing or higher from an accredited college or university which includes courses in nursing education
Required QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess leadership in the teaching of baccalaureate level nursing and BRN content area, as well as teaching and student learning outcomes evaluation.
