• Provide instruction in accordance with approved Imperial Valley College curriculum and course outlines as assigned.
• Conduct classes, prepare lessons, evaluate students, develop course syllabus, and assess learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of grades, syllabi, attendance reports, and submit them by published deadlines.
• Adhere to professional conduct and ethics standards.
• Advise students on academic matters.
• Maintain competence in the field.

• Master's degree in philosophy, or
• Bachelor's degree in philosophy plus a Master's degree in humanities or religious studies, or equivalent.
• Understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students (AB 1725, 87360a).
