Part Time After School Program Educator - Hairdressing

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs that focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students.

Mission

Location
:
Candidates should be open to placement at any of the schools partnered in the Roseville Unified School District.

Hours
:
Monday‑Friday 12:15 pm–6:00 pm (based on the school’s bell schedule). Candidates must be available to work the full five‑day schedule.

Pay
: $20‑22 per hour (based on education and experience).

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, share ideas, discuss progress, and encourage collaboration.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities: prepare and lead curriculum aligned with program objectives, including educational fitness and enjoyable activities.
• Lead by example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment and meet program goals through positive guidance and classroom management.
• Prioritize safety and joy: monitor the environment, address hazards, and follow safety protocols, including documentation of attendance and incidents.
• Effective communication: engage with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Team player.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Passion for inspiring learning and a commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
• Meeting state‑specific requirements.
• First Aid and CPR in person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Proof of MMR.
• 18 + years of age.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
