This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in expanding behavioral health career pathways across California’s community colleges. You will lead program operations, outreach, recruitment, student engagement, and technical assistance for a statewide wellness coaching initiative. The position involves collaborating with colleges, state funders, and internal teams to ensure equitable access and program success. Accountabilities- Implement strategic, data-driven recruitment plans in collaboration with colleges, program funders, and internal teams
- Coordinate events, Communities of Practice sessions, webinars, and student engagement activities
- Oversee the creation of outreach collateral, program documentation, and comprehensive records to support funder reporting and internal evaluation
- Provide technical assistance and manage payment processing
- Support student ambassador activities and maintain program data systems
- Plan and facilitate training sessions and webinars for participating colleges
- Contribute to continuous improvement of program operations and ensure alignment with statewide goals
- AA/AS degree with 4 years of equivalent work experience, or a combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in education, healthcare, non-profit, or social services environments preferred
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to implement equity-minded, mission-driven programs
- Experience with student engagement, recruitment, outreach, and virtual program coordination
- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment
- Comfort with data management, reporting, and technical assistance for program operations
