The Worship Pastor will oversee and lead a worship team to guide the congregation in worship services and special programs, coordinating all service details based on the theme and overall direction established by the Senior Pastor. He must be creative, passionate, and a visionary in leading people to God after the pattern of our mission statement. The Worship Pastor will be a team-builder with communication and interpersonal skills developing a disciple-making culture within the worship team.
The position is pastoral, requiring service, not solely in leading the music ministry, but also as a spiritually mature shepherd to the people of Central.
- Support the Lead Pastor in the accomplishment of the church’s mission and direction
- Create and lead weekend and special event worship music as the worship leader
- Provide oversight of all technical aspects of audio and video for worship services and live-streaming
- Assist with overall shepherding of the congregation as part of the pastoral leadership team
- Oversee special events by scheduling, organizing necessary teams, and coordinating with guest speakers and musicians
- Recruit, develop, schedule, and equip ministry volunteers to serve in the worship and tech teams
- Coordinate the purchase of music, supplies, materials, and equipment needed to equip the ministry
- Ensure proper function of instruments, lighting, sound system, computers, and software including maintenance and replacement
- Additional experience in developing and implementing a communication strategy to inform the congregation through social media and website
- Serve in a variety of other ministries as the Lord leads
- Experience in worship leadership
- Ordained pastor or minister of the gospel (preferred)
- Ministry training such as Seminary, college, etc. (preferred)
- Demonstrate experience in managing and discipling teams
- Able to work among and lead a multi-generational congregation and ministry team
- Passion for God’s Word, prayer, disciple-making, global missions and local evangelism
- Skilled in vocals and a musical instrument is required
- Be skilled and well-versed in a variety of music styles and genres across all generations

Administrative Assistant – EstimatingCentral Conveyor Company is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant for our Estimating department at our Michigan headquarters. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and streamlining the bid and estimating process for our industrial conveyor systems and solutions. This role is crucial in supporting our team to deliver precise and competitive proposals to our clients in the automotive and material handling industries.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight for Middle School and High School ministries.
- Lead and be the primary teacher for our Midweek Youth Program and Youth Sunday School.
- Build relationship with students and parents, encouraging a culture of discipleship.
- Plan and lead youth events and participate in District camps and conferences.
- Equip and empower volunteer leaders to serve in youth ministry.
- Connect with other youth leaders to continue to grow in ministry effectiveness.
- Oversee the strong team of kids’ ministry volunteers and oversee curriculum choices.
- Provide continuity between kids’ ministry, youth ministry and the church as a whole.
- Coordinate with the Lead Pastor in youth and kids’ ministry goals and vision.
- Collaborate with other church leaders to integrate Youth and Kids into the larger church.
- Provide resources and direction to Parents and Families as they disciple their kids.
- A life that demonstrates a growing relationship with Jesus and a calling to pastoral ministry.
- Experience with leading youth ministries.
- Strong communication and relational skills, particularly with students and volunteers.
- Ability to collaborate with church staff and volunteers to give input toward the church vision.
- Bachelor’s degree in ministry or a related field preferred.
