As an adjunct faculty member, you will teach DNTL 4075 – Capstone Course:
Teaching in Dental Hygiene Programs (3 units). This course provides dental hygienists with the foundations and resources necessary to become effective educators in dental health care as faculty members. Emphasis is placed on the development and implementation of a capstone project, including project description, assessment tools, goals, objectives, and activities. Courses in the baccalaureate completion program are offered asynchronous online.
- Master’s degree in Education, Dental Technology or a closely related discipline; or the equivalent (equivalency evaluated via Form).
- Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Dentistry, Education, or a closely related field.
- Experience as a Dental Hygienist.
$77.02–$90.50 per hour
