Admissions Counselor
Recruit and interview young adults for a job trade program.
Provide potential enrollee with realistic information regarding the career training and services available as well as the requirements and expectations placed on applicants who enroll in Job Corps.
Determine applicant's eligibility to participate in the program based on established guidelines.
Collect and record accurate date and signatures on all applicant forms. Update student information, such as address, phone number, etc. according to requirements.
Provides ongoing support through the application process and updates.
Work with students to ensure that individualize the Career Skills program to fit the student's choice of vocation and maintain contact with students, vocational counselor and instructors.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in social work, marketing, career counseling or work related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of one year experience in sales, marketing or counseling in a related field.
Required to have a valid driver's license in the state of Louisiana and acceptable driving record.
Location:
New Orleans.
Compensation: $35,568.00 + depending on qualifications and experience.
