Professor of Economics - Adjunct Position
Palomar College is a public two-year community college located in San Marcos, California, approximately 30 miles north of San Diego. This full‑time on‑site Adjunct Professor of Economics will teach undergraduate courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and/or International Economics. The professor will develop and deliver engaging course materials, foster student understanding of economic principles, mentor students, assess progress, and contribute to the ongoing development of the college’s Economics curriculum as part of the faculty team.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge and expertise in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and International Economics
- Experience in Economics instruction at the university or college level
- Proficiency in developing and delivering curriculum in higher education settings
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment
- Master’s degree in Economics or a related field (Doctorate preferred)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of current educational technologies and their integration into classroom instruction
