The Tower Technician Instructor presents formal education and training classes to all students in the Tower

Technician program. Classes will consist of both theory and practical laboratory applications. This position is responsible for creating and sustaining an environment of academic and professional excellence as well as contributing directly to an environment of student/instructor satisfaction and academic excellence.
* Basic Responsibilities:
* * This individual will ensure that all team members are safely performing work in a manner consistent with safety industry standards when working
* Perform ILT (Instructor Led Training) to students promoting Safety, Quality, and Production
* Conduct Job training for students promoting Safety, Quality, and Production
* Create relevant Training Bulletins and Methods of Procedure (MOP's)
* Work with the Director of Tower Technician and other trainers to develop pro-active production-based skills
* Implement, interact and maintain active communication processes with Management
* Assign web-based training and verify student assignments are up to date
* Obtain all training certificates for all Instructor Lead training classes
* Comfort working at height, this includes rooftops, ladders, towers and lifts. Pervious at height, fall protection and/or lift experience is desirable but not necessary
* Other duties as assigned
* Basic Requirements:
* * Three (3 +) years increasing responsibility in the field of tower installation and repair.
* One year of teaching experience or training in instructional methods and teaching skills in Tower preferred.
* OSHA 30 Construction Certification - OSHA 500, 510, and 501 preferred.
* NWSA Telecommunications Tower Technician1
* Must be able to stand, kneel, and crouch for long periods, climb ladders, climb ascending 100’ or more carrying all required safety gear and lift in excess of 20 pounds either with or without reasonable accommodation
* Must have actual hands-on physical experience climbing, building, troubleshooting wireless communication sites
* Ability to work in all weather conditions
* A self-starter mentality, yet extremely team oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced
* Personable with the ability to establish strong relationships with strong presentation skills
* Strong professional communication skills across all media types, both internally and externally
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
* Strong organizational and time management
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
* Be a positive reinforcement to the PCI workforce
* Possess the ability to be a coach and mentor to others
