Location: Fenton

Field Service Power Generation Technician

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Fenton, MO.

(Will be relocating to Pontoon Beach, IL location next year)

Responsibilities
  • Complete repair activities on generators or components.
  • Engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
  • Maintain detailed records of service.
  • Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
  • Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
  • Maintain own tools.
Requirements
  • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
  • High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
  • Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
  • Basic Diesel Engine experience.
  • Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
  • Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and perform commissioning on a new ATS installation.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
  • Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred).
  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution.
  • Current relevant electrical certification.
  • Locally valid driving permit.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Compensation And Benefits
