This opportunity entails being responsible for managing assigned project(s) throughout their full lifecycle including developing the scope and technical sections of proposal and procurement documents, participating in contract negotiations, and overseeing project delivery to ensure quality work, on time, on budget, and client satisfaction. The role involves proactive management of budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications. The Senior Project Manager will manage multi-disciplinary project teams for projects ranging from $1M to over $25M, possibly leading or serving as a discipline lead on larger projects.

What You'll Do

• Develop project scope and fee quotations, assist in technical proposal and contract preparation.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, managing project teams to deliver scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Perform technical tasks including analysis, reports, design, and specifications.
• Implement project delivery plans, lead development and execution of project management plans, supervise and mentor team members.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, development, and performance reviews of project staff.
• Assist with business development, build client relationships, and lead proposal development and presentations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of successful engineering project management.

What You'll Bring

• Proven success in delivering multi-disciplinary or large bridge projects on time, on budget, and with high client satisfaction.
• Experience leading large teams and managing risk and change independently.
• Familiarity with system tools for project management.
• Leadership in bridge engineering, with connections to state departments of transportation, especially in the Midwest.

What We Prefer

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 15-20 years of experience in complex bridge design and delivery.
• Professional Engineer (PE) and Structural Engineer (SE) certifications.
• Experience as Engineer of Record for major river crossings.
• Active involvement in industry organizations and strong regional connections.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as CSi Bridge, LARSA, LUSAS, LEAP Bridge.
