The Project Engineer leads cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to customer specifications. This role manages all phases of the project lifecycle, from design and testing to production and delivery, ensuring quality, technical accuracy, and smooth coordination between engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with exceptional project management skills to drive innovation, resolve challenges, and achieve results in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
EssentialResponsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans based on ITT Value Based Product Development process, supplier manufacturing plans, internal manufacturing plans, logistics processing time, and quality control and testing.
- Assign duties or responsibilities to project personnel and lead cross‑functional teams through all phases of project life cycles.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure that products are delivered on time, in the correct quantities, and meet all contract quality standards.
- Develop a strong partnership and interaction within the engineering and project team to manage Technical Data Packages and other engineering processes.
- Ensure customer requirements are met and manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication.
- Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
- Create program and project status presentations for delivery to stakeholders, leadership, and project personnel.
- Implement and manage detailed project schedules and risk and opportunity registers.
- Monitor the performance of project team members to provide performance feedback.
- Prepare professional and user‑friendly project related communications for distribution to employees, customers, leadership, and suppliers.
- Provide technical and proposal support to the Sales and Production Departments.
- Plans and formulates engineering project and organizes project staff according to project requirements.
- Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing.
