Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long‑term, low‑cost provider of American‑produced liquefied natural gas. We are seeking a Engineer, Rotating Equipment to join our team in Cameron, LA. This role reports to the Director, Operations Engineering and will be responsible for developing and progressing the Ready for Operations (RFO) activities, ensuring a seamless transition of the facility from EPC to the operations phase.

• Serve as a resident company Subject Matter Expert, providing advice and guidance on Rotating Equipment system engineering issues.
• Provide daily-to-day Rotating Equipment and Mechanical systems support to the Maintenance & Operations teams to ensure continued operability of plant equipment.
• Provide advanced diagnostic support to allow rapid production recovery in the event of equipment failure and forced plant outage.
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) exercises, including summarizing causes and recommendations.
• Interpret and evaluate analysis and recommendations from Reliability Technicians on predictive programs.
• Support the Maintenance team for Turnaround planning and execution.
• Track availability and improve overall reliability for plant equipment; evaluate workflow processes, identify critical spares, and manage spare parts storage and preservation for Rotating Equipment systems throughout the plant.
• Lead initiatives to fine‑tune and improve existing Maintenance practices, achieving a cost‑effective yet safe robust Maintenance strategy.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical discipline;
  Mechanical Engineering focus preferred.
• A minimum of ten to fifteen years’ experience working in a senior engineering capacity with rotating and mechanical equipment in an industrial setting.
• Oil and Gas experience required; preference for LNG applications or related hydrocarbon processing (petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, etc.).
• Extensive knowledge of gas turbines (Frames & Aero‑derivatives) and compressors, including compressor performance.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems and RCFA tools for conducting failure analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, and mentorship skills; ability to lead RCFA and support reliability engineering activities.
