We are looking to add an Automation Systems Engineer, Principal Member of Technical Staff (PMTS) to our Hardware, Automation and Metrology Engineering team. This individual will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and validating manufacturing equipment and process technology to enable scale manufacturing of our solid‑state lithium‑metal batteries. Experience working with electrochemical energy storage devices such as lithium‑based batteries, fuel cells, or similar technologies is highly desired.

As Principal Test Software Engineer, you will be the primary software owner for our Test Engineering team. This is a high‑impact role that requires a unique ability to balance high‑level system architecture with deep, hands‑on debugging of hardware and software interfaces. You will be the crucial link between the physical world of battery testing and our cloud data infrastructure, leveraging your fluency in AI and Machine Learning to transform massive datasets into actionable, predictive insights.

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Operations Engineer who thrives on solving complex process challenges and leading by example on the production floor. In this role, you will work closely with operators, technicians, and cross‑functional engineering teams to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot production processes. You will collaborate with R&D and automation groups to select, integrate, and validate automated equipment. You will also identify potential bottlenecks or failure points and develop mitigation strategies, while also troubleshooting issues that may arise.

A strong background in electrochemical energy storage and a mechanically inclined disposition are strong assets for this role.
