Job Overview:Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking Field Engineers for immediate and 2025 starts. This site-based role involves managing daily project operations under supervision, ensuring safety, schedule, cost, and quality standards. Responsibilities include supporting engineering review, procurement, construction, startup of electrical systems, installation guidance, QA/QC enforcement, scheduling, and owner communication. You will review and submit as-builts and system packages, supervise craft personnel and subcontractors, and ensure project compliance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor daily production and costs, prepare and review reports for planning.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and maintain client relationships.
- Understand contracts and maintain accurate billing quantities.
- Manage equipment and material transactions, ensure safety compliance.
- Assist with quality management, documentation, and project meetings.
- Secure permits, liaise with utility companies and landowners.
- Verify reports, analyze field data, and conduct project kick-offs and close-outs.
- Handle RFIs, submittals, document control, and work plan preparations.
- Monitor consumables, update crew and equipment matrices.
- Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Effective communication and supervisory skills.
- Ability to relocate to project sites for durations of 6-18 months.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
This role includes environmental compliance responsibilities, such as ensuring adherence to environmental procedures, training staff, managing environmental permits, and collaborating with environmental representatives to meet regulations.
