This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance.

This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

This role supports the refurbishment of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

*** Relocation provided.
* Travel expected up to 0-5% of the time.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, supporting all shifts/OT, as necessary, to support business needs.
* Multiple positions available

* Shifts:

10-12 HR Nights 6:00pm-6:00am
** Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*** Maintenance of spaceflight hardware and equipment
* Replacement of electrical wire harnesses and instrumentation
* Drilling close tolerance, precision holes in a variety of metals and composites
* Complex mechanical assembly
* Crane rigging and lifting operations.
* Assist engineers in reviewing design concepts, providing feedback for improvements.
* Familiarity working with assembly fixture tooling.
* Review and follow written work instructions for complex mechanical installations.
* Innovate and improve processes to increase efficiency of operations.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, supporting all shifts/OT, as necessary, to support business needs.
* Training will start on day shift and will potentially last several months.

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Passion for our mission:
Millions of people living and working in space!
* 3+ years’ experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, offshore ops or related fields
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
* Ability to read, understand, and use technical manuals and detailed work instructions.
* Experience and comfortability working in both research and flight environments.
* Knowledge and experience with personal protective equipment
* Knowledge in the proper use of different types of aerospace fittings and seals
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to utilize hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment.
* Use of precision measuring instruments and attention to detail
* Familiarity with hydrostatic, hydraulic, and pneumatic testing
* Experience with thread insert installation and thread tapping tools.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as be a self-starter.
* Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work in small, restricted spaces.
* Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
* Must be able to gain U.S. Space force DBIDS access credentials.

*** A&P license or equivalent experience in integration and test of flight systems and structures
