• Work with PC cards, resistors, transistors, cockpit hardware, and other simulation system components (
Note:
no circuit-level design)
• Maintain lab hardware inventory and manage spare parts
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (hardware, software, systems)
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with design requirements
• Influence lab operations and team culture to promote collaboration and innovation About the Team
You will join a team supporting F-15, F-18, and T-7A platforms. This role focuses on the F/A-18 OTC effort for the U.S. Navy. The team includes both employees and contractors, working to modernize its approach to collaboration and engineering workflows. Basic Qualifications (Required)
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance prior to start
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Chemistry
• 5+ years of relevant work experience (or equivalent: Master’s + 3 years or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with: ○ Avionics, electrical systems, or mission system integration ○ Lab-based or simulation environments ○ Agile development practices and tools like JIRA ○ Project management and cross-functional team leadership Why You Should Apply
• Work on cutting-edge training platforms for naval aviation
• Be hands-on with lab-based, hardware-rich simulation systems
• Make an impact beyond engineering—help evolve team culture
Engage in a collaborative, forward-thinking defense environment
