Welcome to Qluu!
Qluu is building next-generation autonomous robotics systems, cUAS focused on real-world security and defense applications. Our platforms include autonomous UAVs and UGVs designed to operate as coordinated systems using onboard AI, perception, and autonomy.
We’re seeking a
founding-level engineer
to help transition our systems from early prototypes to field-ready platforms. This role works directly with the founder and has meaningful ownership over architecture, hardware, and autonomy decisions.
What we’re looking for
Master’s degree or higher in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
5–10 years of experience in robotics, autonomy, or embedded systems
- Strong robotics or mechatronics background
- Experience with Solid Works or similar CAD
- Embedded C/C++ experience
- Experience with Jetson or edge AI compute
- Familiarity with ROS / ROS2
- Comfortable working hands-on with hardware
What you’ll work on:
- Early-stage mechanical design and iteration (Solid Works)
- Design and bring up PCBs (power, MCU, sensors)
- Embedded firmware for robotic platforms
- Camera and sensor integration (IMU, GNSS, vision)
- Edge AI perception on Jetson
- Autonomy behaviors, safety states, and system integration
- Hands‑on prototyping, assembly, and testing (UAVs & UGVs)
Compensation:
- Founding-level
- Salary commensurate with experience after funding milestones
