• Perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on specific applicable T/M/S aircraft Egress, Environmental and related systems.
• Perform flight line essential services as directed to daily Flight Schedule.
• Routine lifting in excess of OSHA standards required.
• Routine ordnance loading will require team lifts of ordnance items up to 167 pounds load share per team member, in accordance with standard USN procedures.
• Have authority to direct Level I work center personnel to accomplish specific maintenance actions as required in accordance with Department of Labor Skill Code definitions. Provide guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.
• Occasionally required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.

• Education
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be graduates of approved O-Level training, AME School, manufacturer, or Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit for specific T/M/S egress systems.
  • Have completed and documented the appropriate T/M Navy Egress Class "C" school.
• Experience
  • Minimum five years USN/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience.
  • Minimum three years T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience for the specific aircraft hired to maintain.
  • Three years T/M experience within the last seven years.
• Other Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Shall possess or be able to qualify for a U.S. state driver’s license.
  • Candidate shall be experienced in the maintenance of:
    • Aircraft ejection seats
    • Aircraft air conditioning systems
    • Canopy systems
    • Canopy jettison/fracturing systems
    • Fire warning/extinguishing systems
    • Onboard Oxygen Generating Systems repair/troubleshooting
    • Aircraft environmental systems maintenance
    • Aircraft pressurization systems – troubleshoot oxygen systems, repair and test oxygen regulators and Liquid Oxygen (LOX) converters removed from the aircraft.
