We are a national staffing firm currently seeking a
Reliability Engineer
for a prominent client. The position is located in
Macon, MO
. Details are as follows:

  • Up to $56/hr based on experience.
  • This is an onsite, 6+ month contract position with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
  • Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, Plant Manager, or Enterprise Reliability Engineering Manager, the Reliability Engineer will enhance Asset Reliability through technical support to maintenance, optimizing PM and CbM processes to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Responsibilities include analyzing equipment history, utilizing statistical analysis, predictive technologies, non-destructive testing, and problem-solving to address equipment failures.
  • Facilitating RCM analysis workshops on top assets, utilizing Weibull analysis to determine failure rates, and collaborating with maintenance planners to develop failure mode-driven maintenance procedures.
  • Coordinating with asset owners and management to endorse maintenance strategies.
  • Owning the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) program, including conducting Bad Actor Analysis and defining asset criticality.
  • Managing Preventive Maintenance Evaluation (PME) and Optimization (PMO) programs, including human-factored procedure writing.
  • Collaborating on design for reliability and maintainability for new and modified installations, participating in equipment inspection and validation.
  • Calculating asset life-cycle costs and ensuring machinery operates at peak performance.
  • Owning the Condition-based Maintenance (CbM) program, including Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, Motor Circuit Analysis, Oil Analysis, Ultrasonic Emission, Non-destructive Testing, and Visual Testing.
  • Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, with maintenance experience preferred. Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, statistical tools, and software is essential. Strong teamwork and facilitation skills are also required.
