About This JobWe are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical/Plumbing Engineer – to join our team in Marina Del Rey, California.
SummaryThis position is responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
Responsibilities- Build long term customer relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Manages HVAC and Plumbing design projects by satisfying clients’ needs, meeting budget expectations and project schedules.
- Provides support during construction phases.
- Understands engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts to execute all required aspects of mechanical engineering. (HVAC & PLUMBING)
- Manages a multi-project workload as well as oversee the design work of other engineers. The successful candidate will be accountable for project coordination and quality, as well as budget adherence, and overall team communication.
- Is responsible for oversight of production team on specific projects.
- Leads multi-disciplinary team for mechanically focused projects.
- Performs coordination with other disciplines on all projects.
- Performs projects within established project budgets and schedules.
- Manages work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four‑year college or university in Mechanical Engineering or completed coursework in HVAC or Plumbing, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certificates, licenses and registrations required: LEED Certification is a plus.
- Computer skills required:
Experienced at using a computer, preferably knowledgeable with MS Word, MS Excel, AutoCAD, and REVIT. - 10 years of experience minimum; recent experience working for a consulting engineering or engineering/architectural firm designing HVAC and Plumbing systems.

- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral presentations and written communications.
- Ability to motivate multiple‑discipline project teams to meet client needs in a timely manner and meet budget objectives.
- Must possess strong leadership and communication skills.
