Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high‑technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are seeking a purpose‑driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open Process Engineer CO‑OP position in Vichy, MO with some travel between the Rolla and Vichy sites. The start date is 05/2026. The successful candidate will need to take a semester off of school to work full‑time hours Summer 2026 – Fall 2026.

Process Engineers evaluate, select, develop, and implement programs for product and process characterization, continuous product and process improvements, equipment design, and specific installation and implementation.

• Perform product and process characterization.
• Conduct work that involves conventional plans, investigations, structures, or equipment with limited scope.
• Complete assignments such as testing materials, preparing workbooks and process specifications, process studies, research investigations, and report preparation.
• Coordinate the work of technicians or other personnel on specific assignments.
• Maintain accurate records of data, procedures, experiments, tests, and findings, including lab notebooks.
• Analyze data to ensure continuous improvements in products, processes, and systems under guidance of more experienced engineers or supervisors.
• Prepare regular periodic reports summarizing outcomes, process improvements, achievements, challenges, and roadblocks.
• Participate in process troubleshooting activities and propose solutions to operational challenges.
• Support the implementation of safety procedures and guidelines within the manufacturing facility.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
• Learn and adhere to industry regulations and standards related to chemical manufacturing processes.

• Junior or Senior working toward a Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
