Position Responsibilities:
Complete Structural Risk Assessment for structural locations using common statistical analysis methods, tools and software
Perform Single Flight Probability of Failure risk analysis and generate risk reports for customers
Complete Durability and Damage Tolerance Analysis for structural locations using common fatigue and fracture tools and software
Works under general supervision
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Level 2: 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR a Master’s degree
Level 3: 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of work-related experience with a Master’s degree OR a PhD
Experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis
Experience conducting basic statistical analysis
Ability to develop technical reports and present results
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active Secret Clearance
2+ years of work-related experience performing structural fatigue and fracture analysis
2+ years of work-related experience performing statistical analysis
Knowledge of Aircraft Structural Integrity Program and it’s requirements
Ability to understand and write engineering reports based on analysis results, test findings and aircraft maintenance reports
Strong oral and written communications skills
Typical Education/
Experience:
