Job Summary
Senior Environmental Planner coordinates environmental compliance for the Last Chance Grade project in Humboldt County, California. The role collaborates with state and federal agencies and the project team to ensure regulatory requirements and mitigation opportunities are addressed.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the project development team and stakeholders to manage environmental compliance and regulations.
- Develop and maintain environmental project deliverables and documentation.
- Assist in contractor management and oversight of consultant documents.
- Facilitate partnerships with external agencies and streamline environmental processes.
- Develop project mitigation opportunities and support compliance efforts.
- Valid driver’s license (for use of state-owned or leased vehicles).
- Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) required.
- Experience with environmental issues, laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in coordination and communication related to environmental planning.
- Experience with project mitigation development.
Salary range: $8,678.00–$10,783.00 per year. Hybrid telework. Permanent full‑time position.
