This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance.
This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
We are looking for world class manufacturing engineers to apply standard engineering methods to design, develop, and implement new or revised manufacturing & production processes for the efficient/economical production of aerospace products. * Key Responsibilities:
*** Translating engineering intent and drawings into fully functional hardware ready for test, qualification, and flight by crafting manufacturing bill of materials and work instructions.
* Identifying tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
* Providing shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
* Non-conformance report (NCR) generation, management, & closure.
* Supporting introduction of new products by crafting manufacturing plan artifacts including build plans, duration estimates, index plans, and tool lists.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency, enhancing overall productivity.
* Drive the transition from development to production, proactively performing troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.

* Minimum Qualifications:
*** Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures, automotive manufacturing or similar: (0-3 years Level I Engineer, 3+ Level II Engineer, 5+ Level III Engineer, 8+ Sr Level Engineer).
* Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
* Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including knowledge of GD&T.
* Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
