This position exists in the Division of Engineering Services (DES), Executive (Exec), Office of Strategic Quality Management (OSQM), under the direction of the Office Chief (Supervising Bridge Engineer). As the Structures Independent Quality Management Specialist, the incumbent is responsible for the research, development, review, and independent quality assurance for all structure guidance materials.
Special Requirements- Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.

The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serves as documentation of each applicant’s ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. Please follow the instructions below; failure to include and complete the SOQ as instructed may result in the SOQ not being considered and in disqualification from the interview. Each question must be numbered and addressed in the same order as the questions below.
The SOQ must be typed, no more than two pages in length, single‑spaced, and 12‑point Arial font. - Describe your experience with performing quality reviews of technical documents.
- Describe your experience with application of policies, processes, procedures, criteria and standards related to investigation, design and construction of transportation structures.
- Describe your experience with effective communication of technical feedback to various level engineering professionals and/or technical committees.
