Location:
Hazelwood, MO.
- Apply broad knowledge of Boeing design and engineering principles.
- Assess and resolve product and process issues through the product lifecycle. Develop and implement product and process improvement.
- Lead research of technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and design, interim and final engineering solutions. Lead development of interim and final solutions.
- Lead others to analyze, conduct root cause analysis, and develop dispositions for design non-conformances.
- Address complex nonconforming conditions and detect deviations.
- Analyze reported problems for potential safety issues; recommend and manage complex resolution.
- Provide design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participating in design reviews.
- Represent the engineering community in the build through post‑production environment.
- Ensure supplier and build partner are compliant with Boeing standards.
- Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Lead and support activities for on‑site disabled product repair teams and accident investigations.
- Design appropriate jacking and shoring schemes.
- Lead the design of interim structural repairs and conduct static strength analysis.
- Develop and lead non‑destructive test procedures, tools, and standards.
- Develop and implement technical training curriculum for internal and external customers.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 2+ years of experience with Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (MRB / LE), material review activities, and engineering corrective actions.
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- 5+ years of experience with Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (MRB / LE), material review activities, and engineering corrective actions.
- Experience with aircraft maintenance, maintenance concepts development and sustainment, repair, overhaul environments, procedures, warranty processes, and contractual agreements.
- Production Engineering Experience Military Aircraft.
- Experience with 3D Design software, such as Unigraphics NX, Solid Works and/or CATIA.
