Location:

Hazelwood, MO.

• Apply broad knowledge of Boeing design and engineering principles.
• Assess and resolve product and process issues through the product lifecycle. Develop and implement product and process improvement.
• Lead research of technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and design, interim and final engineering solutions. Lead development of interim and final solutions.
• Lead others to analyze, conduct root cause analysis, and develop dispositions for design non-conformances.
• Address complex nonconforming conditions and detect deviations.
• Analyze reported problems for potential safety issues; recommend and manage complex resolution.
• Provide design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participating in design reviews.
• Represent the engineering community in the build through post‑production environment.
• Ensure supplier and build partner are compliant with Boeing standards.
• Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Lead and support activities for on‑site disabled product repair teams and accident investigations.
• Design appropriate jacking and shoring schemes.
• Lead the design of interim structural repairs and conduct static strength analysis.
• Develop and lead non‑destructive test procedures, tools, and standards.
• Develop and implement technical training curriculum for internal and external customers.

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 2+ years of experience with Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (MRB / LE), material review activities, and engineering corrective actions.
• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

• 5+ years of experience with Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (MRB / LE), material review activities, and engineering corrective actions.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance, maintenance concepts development and sustainment, repair, overhaul environments, procedures, warranty processes, and contractual agreements.
• Production Engineering Experience Military Aircraft.
• Experience with 3D Design software, such as Unigraphics NX, Solid Works and/or CATIA.
