Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Systems Engineer in Maryland Heights, MO and/or Hazelwood, MO to support future franchise programs.

This role involves strategic and tactical preparation for future air combat. You will advance mission planning software development, integration, and test efforts supporting the fielding of systems critical to our national defense. Advanced mission planning is a sophisticated process that employs detailed analysis and cutting-edge technologies to develop strategies for accomplishing complex objectives. This includes comprehensive planning, resource allocation, and the creation of contingency plans to ensure mission success.

Our advanced planning solutions leverage AI, machine learning, and real-time data analysis to anticipate and adapt to dynamic operational conditions. These innovations will fundamentally transform how the Department of Defense conducts mission planning for the next 30 years, enhancing both strategic foresight and tactical execution.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage requirements, tracking, and verification of system requirements and design specifications
• Support system integration, verification, and validation activities
• Develop and maintain system engineering models, documentation, and modifications to key stakeholders
• Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, interfaces, designs, and algorithms for the program
• Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Help maintain configuration management and version control of system artifacts
• Assist in identifying and resolving system-level issues
• Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance
• Deep understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle: requirements analysis, system design, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance
• Proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools such as SysML, MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS, or Enterprise Architect
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM Rational DOORS)
• Knowledge of networking, hardware, software, and embedded systems depending on the domain
