    : $175,240 - $223,621/annually

As an Engineering Manager you will have the opportunity to perform rewarding work leading a team of six direct and three indirect staff members engaged in field engineering including survey, utility locations, inspection, cathodic protection and construction management for critical water infrastructure projects.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering from a four-year college or university; and a minimum of seven years of professional engineering experience, including engineering experience working on design and/or construction management of water utility related projects, to include a minimum of three years of administrative and supervisory experience.

A valid Class C California driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability under the district’s vehicle insurance policy.

A certificate of registration as a professional engineer issued by the State of California. Registration must be maintained while in this job classification.

This position requires passing the State of California Water Resources Control Board Water Distribution Operator Grade 3 (D3) test and obtaining certification within four years from the date of hire as an engineering manager.

A valid State of California Qualified Stormwater Practitioner Certificate within four years from the date of hire as an engineering manager.
