The Lighting Technician will provide technical support in the role of Follow Spot Operator, Deck Electrician or a combination of both, as it relates to the execution of cues and the operation and maintenance of lighting and other show elements for all Sight & Sound Theatres productions.

• Execute cues, either as a Follow Spot Operator and/or a Deck Electrician, as assigned with accuracy and consistency, which may include being in costume in view of the audience.
• Assist Lighting Operations Supervisor in preparation, maintenance and setup of show lighting elements during shows, rehearsals, strike, load‑in and all other required events.
• Assist other departments in show and non‑show related functions as required.

• Ability to remain calm and rational under pressure and time demands in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to work well in a team atmosphere.
• Positive and service‑oriented.
• Attention to detail.
• Perform assigned tasks without direct supervision.
• Electrical/electronic and/or theatrical lighting experience preferred.
