Lighting Technician

Sight & Sound Theatres “Brings the Bible to Life!” and fosters an employee culture of trust, dedication and excellence. The Lighting Technician will provide technical support in the role of Follow Spot Operator, Deck Electrician or some combination of both, as it relates to the execution of cues and the operation and maintenance of Lighting and other show elements for all Sight & Sound Theatres Productions.

• Execute cues, either as a Follow Spot Operator and/or a Deck Electrician, as assigned with accuracy and consistency, which may include being in costume in view of the audience.
• Assist Lighting Operations Supervisor in preparation, maintenance and setup of show Lighting elements during shows, rehearsals, strike, load-in and all other required events.
• Assist other departments in show and non-show related functions as required.

• Electrical/electronic and/or theatrical lighting experience preferred.

High School or better.

Less than 2 years:

• Theater Experience.
