Business Analyst

A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Business, Accounting, or a related field

Minimum 3-5 years experience working in a dynamic growth-focused environment

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience

Effective multitasking and the ability to deliver quality results on time

Well-organized, analytical, pay close attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills and is comfortable interacting with staff from all departments of the Company

Must be able to move freely around the facility and workstation, stoop, bend, kneel, stand and walk for extended periods of time up to and over 8 hours a day

Must be able to lift an average of 5 pounds, maximum of 10 pounds

The Business Analyst provides full support and reports directly to the President assisting the executive team

Assist the executive team in the execution of the annual operating plan through analytics, process improvement, and key performance management

Prepare internal financial reports daily for both Atlas management and LSI corporate

Perform account reconciliations and enter in Blackline software within corporate deadlines

Review ledger transactions for accuracy prior to posting

Review, approve, and report daily sales activity after invoicing

Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting

Research inventory cost variances and correct them as needed

Support operations department with regular inventory cost rolls of standards

Backup other members of the Accounting Department when needed

Assist with periodic internal and external audits of transactions and account balances

Prepare financial analysis and research as needed

Create, modify, and execute reports using report-writing software to support various departments

Other responsibilities as needed to assist the Controller
