Overview
Our client is an independent investment adviser and asset manager that provides research, advisory, and investment services. As a leader in alternatives, they work with institutional investors and investment services across the alternative investment landscape. The firm helps clients develop customized, diversified portfolios that balance return, volatility, and liquidity most effectively. The firm is currently seeking a candidate for a junior level position of Fund Accounting Analyst to join our growing team of investment professionals.
We are currently accepting resumes to join our growing team of investment professionals. The position is primarily responsible for various operational and accounting functions for our interval funds.
- Reconcile and report daily investor flows to portfolio management and sales teams
- Generate daily performance and attribution reporting for internal stakeholders
- Manage the access, dissemination and retention of various investment documents, including and not limited to capital activity notifications, investor statements, financial reports, and tax statements
- Track upcoming capital activities for fund investments and work with internal teams to ensure timely transmission of funds
- Provide various fund investment documents and reports received to relevant internal and external parties, including the auditor and custodian, as required
- Address inquiries and ad hoc requests as needed
- The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in finance or other related industry
- Candidates should have a strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft programs.
- Candidates must be detail-oriented, be able to meet tight deadlines and have excellent communication skills.
- The position is located in our Los Angeles office.
