Work Schedule:
3 days in office, 2 days from home
We are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join a growing investment management team. This position involves managing accounting for multiple funds, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting audits and investor communications.
Key Responsibilities- Perform fund accounting for multiple investment funds.
- Review and reconcile cash and asset transactions; escalate discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain fund sub‑ledgers and general ledgers on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Calculate management fees and review system outputs for interest, PIK, OID, and corporate actions.
- Prepare capital calls, distributions, and investor statements.
- Compile quarterly closing packages and financial reports.
- Assist with annual audits and tax filings.
- Respond to ad‑hoc investor and management requests.
- Support special projects and process documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or investment management accounting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with general ledger systems.
- CPA designation is a plus.
