Overview
The FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing financial visibility, forecasting accuracy, and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely with leadership as well as operations, sales, and marketing teams to drive budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis within a fast‑paced consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment.
This position is ideal for a hands‑on financial professional with strong analytical capabilities, deep experience in large CPG organizations, and advanced systems proficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesBudgeting, Forecasting & Financial Modeling
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Build and maintain financial models to support demand planning, pricing strategies, promotional planning, and new product launches.
- Improve forecasting accuracy using historical data, trends, and key performance drivers.
Financial Analysis & Insights
- Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and performance against plan.
- Provide actionable financial insights to Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Deliver dashboards, KPI reporting, and decision‑ready analysis to executive leadership.
Cross‑Functional & Strategic Support
- Own headcount planning, Opex tracking, and ROI analysis.
- Support board and investor reporting as needed.
- Partner with business teams to strengthen financial accountability and drive profitable growth.
Process & Systems Optimization
- Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
- Leverage ERP and CRM systems (such as Certinia/Financial Force and Salesforce) to optimize data integrity and financial workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years FP&A experience in a large or well‑established CPG company.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas).
- Hands‑on experience with Certinia (Financial Force), Salesforce, or comparable ERP/CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of key CPG financial drivers: volume, pricing, trade spend, inventory, and margin dynamics.
- Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
