• Provide federal tax compliance and advisory services to S‑corporations, partnerships, individuals, and corporations ranging from middle‑market to multinational companies.
• Participate in tax research projects, draft IRS responses, and address other tax authority inquiries.
• Collaborate with leaders on special projects involving corporate and flow‑through taxation such as accounting methods and ASC
  740.
• Develop recommendations for clients and discuss strategies with leadership.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex state, local, high‑net‑worth, international, research, and development matters, including credits and incentives.
• Learn and grow through on‑the‑job coaching, mentoring, and firm‑wide learning programs.
• Build and nurture client and internal relationships, leveraging entrepreneurial skills and networking.
• Support the development of team members under the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.
• Participate in social activities and team outings that foster work‑life balance.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or a related business discipline, and sufficient coursework for CPA and/or Bar exam eligibility.
• CPA or JD license preferred.
• Two (2)+ years of experience in federal tax compliance and consulting at a public accounting firm.
• Strong time‑management, communication, interpersonal, relationship‑building, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent leadership, project‑management, organizational, and analytical abilities, with initiative and adaptability.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

The compensation range for this role is $80,000 – $135,000. Actual compensation is influenced by skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
