Responsibilities
  • Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry‑specific clients, including S‑corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations ranging from middle market to multinational companies.
  • Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries.
  • Team with leaders on special projects in corporate and flow‑through taxation such as accounting methods and ASC 740.
  • Develop recommendations for the client to consider and share with leadership to discuss and strategize.
  • Communicate and collaborate with specialty tax practices on complicated matters in state and local, high‑net‑worth, international, research and development, and credits and incentives areas.
  • Learn and grow from direct on‑the‑job coaching and mentoring, along with firm‑wide learning and development programs.
  • Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, or a related business field with sufficient coursework and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state considered.
  • CPA or JD license preferred.
  • One (1)+ year(s) of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
  • Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills; initiative and adaptability.
  • Microsoft Suite skills.

The compensation range for this role is $57,460 to $108,930. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors…
