Our client, a growing aerospace / defense manufacturer, seeks a CFO to lead financial strategy and systems. This is an on-site role based in Ventura County, CA.
Core Requirements :- 15+ years in financial leadership within complex manufacturing (aerospace, defense, engineered products).
- Former CFO / VP Finance in a manufacturing setting.
- Direct experience with government compliance (TINA, CAS, DCAA audits), cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Proven track record in ERP implementation and M&A support.
- Ability to build teams, optimize costs, and provide strategic insight.
- Lead financial readiness for an upcoming ERP implementation.
- Build scalable reporting to improve margin and program analysis.
- Ensure robust government contract compliance and audit readiness.
- Drive cost optimization and support strategic growth / M&A.
- Develop the finance team and establish tax strategy.
