Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor and regulate high-risk activities, and document suspicious user transactions.
• Ad-hoc risk views and drill-down analysis of anomalies observed in the underwriting process.
• Achieve scalability of operations via automation of daily/weekly/monthly processes.
• Ensure that portfolio management systems and risk management systems are up to date with the latest and most accurate information.
• Actively contribute to various system/process enhancement projects.
• Create utilities for information gathering and sharing, which will enable better business decision-making tools to mitigate risks within the process.
• Handle dispute cases and submit detailed responses leading to favourable dispute resolution.
• Document the negative reviews arising due to various fraudulent activities on customer accounts and prepare effective and standard responses to be shared with the customer experience team.

• Ability to work independently and able to liaise with other departments and coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of credit and banking products.
• Good knowledge of SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in handling large datasets and variables.
• Experience in fetching information from SQL databases like Mongo
  
  DB.
• Bachelor's in engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in quantitative analysis or a portfolio risk reporting role.
• Start-up or fintech experience is preferred.
