Senior Accounting Consultant

Our client, a leading health and wellness company, is seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant to provide interim support with the potential for a permanent role. As a Senior Accounting Consultant, you will join the Accounting Department and report directly to the Director of Finance. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive, self-driven approach to problem-solving, ensuring immediate impact and success in a dynamic environment.

Senior Accounting Consultant

Onsite – Culver City, CA

$50-70/hour (W2, based on experience)

• Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and review accruals, variance analysis, and inventory accounting.
• Conduct cost assessments and support financial reporting requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reconciliations and account balances.
• Apply advanced Excel functions to manage and analyze large data sets.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 and Power BI with intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH).
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
