Asset Management Analyst
The Asset Management Analyst plays a vital role within ZMR Capital’s national asset management platform. You’ll support financial reporting, underwriting validation, investor communications, and transaction due diligence while working closely with our acquisitions, operations, and executive teams. This is an entrepreneurial, high‑impact role for someone eager to grow, solve problems, and contribute across multiple facets of the business.
What You’ll Do- Build and maintain asset management and job‑costing models used for valuations, cash management, capex tracking, and ROI analysis
- Prepare monthly financial and operational reporting packages
- Contribute to asset management reviews, quarterly investor reports, and portfolio‑wide valuation analyses
- Partner with the Acquisitions Team to support due diligence efforts
- Prepare, review, and support lender documentation, financing packages, and draw requests
- Conduct financial analysis for capital expenditures, refinancings, leasing strategies, and dispositions
- Assist in underwriting validation and support technology‑driven internal reporting tools
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills
- BS/BA in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated self‑starter who can independently gather information and drive results
- Strong technical proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and operate with minimal oversight
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams
- Experience underwriting real‑estate investments and evaluating multiple commercial property types is a plus
- 0–2 years of experience in commercial real estate, including asset management, research, underwriting, valuation, or due diligence
- Bachelor’s degree in a finance‑or real‑estate‑related discipline with strong academic or analytical background
