Vice President of Finance

Position Summary

The Vice President of Finance will provide strategic financial leadership and operational oversight for the company’s global finance organization. This role requires a hands‑on executive with strong controller experience, capable of managing and mentoring a team of 20 while driving process innovation, efficiency, and standardization across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reporting functions.

The ideal candidate is a forward‑thinking leader who leverages technology to simplify complex workflows and implement scalable financial systems in a growing corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a finance team of 20 across AR/AP and general accounting functions.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Design and implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline accounting operations and strengthen internal controls.
  • Partner with executive leadership to drive financial strategy, forecasting, and long‑term planning.
  • Evaluate, select, and deploy financial technologies and automation tools to optimize efficiency.
  • Oversee cash‑flow management, working‑capital optimization, and global financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal audit standards.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, HR, and IT to align financial processes with organizational goals.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to simplify, modernize, and digitize financial operations.
  • Support integration of new systems and global business units as the organization scales.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership, including controller‑level experience.
  • Proven success managing large accounting teams (15+).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate finance best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify and innovate within financial processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and data‑analytics tools.
  • Experience implementing or upgrading ERP systems;
    Sage and/or Quick Books experience a plus.
  • Global or multi‑entity financial operations experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
