Salary: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month
Job Type: 12‑Month Limited Term – Full Time (may extend to 24 months or become permanent)
Under the direction of a Staff Services Manager, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) serves as the Damage Recovery Coordinator. The AGPA provides technical expertise in administrative areas of the Maintenance Support Branch, coordinating, processing, and reviewing damage reports. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate claims records, validating claim data, and managing telecommunications. The AGPA leads investigations, evaluates damage reports, and supports Supervisors and Managers throughout the district.
Minimum Requirements- Must have current eligibility for state examination, including transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotion positions.
- Must be on the state examination list or qualify through a current examination.
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus additional education or experience as specified in the class specification.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Valid California driver’s license (required for operating state-owned or leased vehicles).
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state-owned or leased vehicle.

- Be no longer than two pages and typed in 12‑point Arial font.
- Include examples of experience in evaluating workloads, prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, tracking budgets, and providing recommendations.
- Demonstrate the ability to review, screen, and prepare clear, comprehensive documents.
- Show experience working with external and internal customers, including consultants, vendors, and business owners.
